About Me

I am originally from a small country settlement called 'Mahana' in the Tasman district of the South Island of New Zealand. I am now living in a rural community called 'Parnassus' which comes under the wing of Cheviot, North Canterbury, NZ on a 5 acre block.

We are 10 or so km North of Cheviot, just on the other side of the Waiau Bridge.

Sharing this wonderful wee lifestyle is my mother and my fiancee.

My fiancee is a boat builder and right into Model Helicopters!
Flaggon Creek RC Helis

I have been involved with horses and ponies since I was 11 months old (now that is going back a few years
). Like most children I started off with a mad black pony but eventually got the calm, level headed  Quarter Horse.

I was once employed at a 'Clothing Manufacturing Company' and I think it has finally come back to me that I need to put some of my skills to use after all these years. Also, as I have shown western for many years I learnt what colours go with what horse.

I know that my garments are not as flash as some out there but a judge once told me that "too much sparkle and bling is not a good thing" His meaning of that was: "As a judge I want to see a horse and rider that is turned out smartly and clean and all those accessories don't make me look any harder at the combination". Some advice that I used myself when showing!
I would love to hear from you, so if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
